About ECGRI Study
ECGRI is a multi-center research study led by Dr. Rahul Gajbhiye, Scientist E at ICMR- National Institute for Research in Reproductive and Child Health (NIRRCH), Mumbai, India. Dr Gajbhiye is awarded DBT Wellcome India Alliance Clinical and Public Health Intermediate Fellowship for implementing the ECGRI study. ECGRI is a Case-Control study that aims to investigate the clinical phenotypes and genetic risks associated with endometriosis in the Indian population. Currently, the etiology and risk factors associated with endometriosis are not clearly known in spite of several years of research.

ECGRI is a multi-center study all and over India covering representative Indian population from North, North East, East, Central, West South geographical Zone of India with a targeted sample size of 4000 women.
