Endometriosis is a chronic gynecological disorder often associated with lower abdominal pain, and inability to conceive. It is estimated to affect 176 million women worldwide and ~26 million women in India. Information on presentation, severity of endometriosis and associated risk factors for endometriosis in India is scarce. Therefore, ECGRI study aims to investigate different types of endometriosis, their clinical features, presentations, severity and also identify genetic risk factors associated with endometriosis in Indian women.

If you have symptoms suggestive of endometriosis or you have surgically confirmed endometriosis, you can contact the nearest collaborator mentioned on ECGRI website, who will explain the procedure to participate. If you agree to participate, you will be required to sign the Informed Consent Form, provide the information as per the data collection instruments and you will be required to give blood samples as per the study protocol.
